About Us

Our Business

Airdusco is a manufacturer’s representative and equipment distributor based in Memphis, TN that specializes in the design and sales of  Bulk Solids Handling, Dust Collection, Explosion Protection & Air Handling Systems.

Our Story

Airdusco Inc. was founded in 1952 by Mr. R. E. Overman as a manufacturers’ representative firm for dry solids handling and industrial control products. Over the last 60+ years, locations, lines and personnel have changed, but the definition and goal of the original business has remained constant: We will provide our customers with the best solutions to solve their bulk solids handling & air pollution control problems.

In 1972, Mr. Stanley Viets and Mr. Ralph Royer bought the R. E. Overman Company and later changed the name to Airdusco Inc. Mr. Viets, as General Manager, continued the tradition of selling by providing the highest levels of competence and service to the customer. Robert Followell purchased Airdusco in 1978 and continued this tradition of excellence and growth of the company. Adam Lancaster joined the business in 1992, and from 2000 until 2010 Adam & Kim Lancaster worked with the Followells to establish equity. The Lancaster’s completed the ownership agreement in 2010.

As the business continued to grow, a vital need from our customers emerged for detailed, professional engineering services that focus on our core competencies of bulk solids handling, dust collection design and explosion protection solutions. To meet this need, Airdusco Engineering & Design Services LLC was formed in April 2012 as an engineering company that specializes in COMBUSTIBLE DUST CONSULTING, DUST HAZARDS ANALYSIS, DUST COLELCITON & EXPLOSION PROTECTION SYSTEM ENGINEERING AND DESIGN AND FIELD SUPPORT SERVICES.

Airdusco is fortunate to work with many of the region’s top manufacturing companies to provide solutions ranging from multi-million-dollar projects to spare parts for existing equipment. We have the ability and resources to help design pneumatic conveying, dust collection, screening, drying, bulk storage and process systems used by our customers in their manufacturing processes.
